Paint is going to be the long waitWont take long at all to have it all back together
Yeah I have the old oneDo you still have the old right fender? Don't throw that away, you need it to make a template for the flare holes. I bought fenders that came from a pre-99 with holes, which are different holes than the 99-01 fenders. Thus I need to drill holes too, but I don't have the old fenders.
It's far easier to spend 15 minutes tracing the old holes onto a poster board template. Then the hole locations will transfer very fast to the new fender.
not bad danny, i should have got you to help out with ol evil! start at your hood gap at the back, and work your way forwards. line up your fenders to the hood. if anything that was bent is now strait enough, everything should fall into place. BTW, i never knew your cowl panel was painted white as well, that looks pretty good, i like that!
Looking good man! Alittle tweaking and you'll be good to go. Seems like it didn't take you long to get everything together.
The problem being I do not know how to weld. How much would a shop charge for that? I have no idea? Let me know when you know the shipping on that grill!cut out the core support and weld in a new one, it was $65, that was the only way I was able to get my front clip all together and lined up like factory
I love everything painted. I don't want the pillars painted I like they look good with the windows. I think it would be an eyes soar if they were white.Do you still like the painted mirrors and cowl pieces? I've been on the fence about those, and the "B" pillars for a long time.
A little? That core support is still so ####ed I don't know what I'm going to do!
