Yes I drive it everyday :) I love my truck, its a bit of a sleeper right now because the front end is ####ed up so people don't expect it to be fast.:salute:

Happy B-day danny

happy belated birthday danny. found another master switch for you today, and just came in from wiring it up as well (this time the right way, LOL) and i will send the other for parts, if you ever need it. also, i found a 95-97 lens for your overhead console as well, so it wont be god awful green, they have a blueish tint to them. couldn't find any cruise switches however. i was broken hearted when i went there. my buddy that painted evil for me told me there was a blue/gold four door when he went there earlier this week, and no one had touched it (a eddy, even the right year). when i went there, it was a v8, and someone took the top half of the motor off. there goes my v8 swap again!

I realized something today!

First off I put my black headlights back in today! Looks evil again :salute:

But heres where you all are going to help me decide what my truck is going to look like when I put it into the body shop. I should be getting my disability here soonly. I want to go full street truck! So I know what I have in my head that I am doing so far!

  1. 2" drop
  2. Shaving the key holes and back whipper
  3. Plane white with a blue metallic flake in the clear
  4. Cal Hood(need your helps finding a 2" cal scoop)
  5. Get new projectors
  6. Billet grill
  7. Should I shave the door handles and key pad?
  8. Remove the roof rails

I want peoples opinions! I am leaving the flairs and boards. What all is your out take on my idea yes or no? Explain? Throw some more ideas at me :salute: Cheers

do u got any updated pics of ur explorer danny

here's my opinion danny

are you still planning to drive it in the winter? if you are, i am not sure i would drop it. you don't want a snow plow. also, shaving the door handles, IMO, would not be a good idea. if your doors freeze up, you might not get in. white with blue metallic, cowl hood, new projectors (or make them), billet grill, shave roof racks, yes. i did the blue l.e.d. treatment to a key pad for you, why don't you wait and see if it works (i cant test it at all, i need a truck with a key pad to do it). if it works, don't shave it, if doesn't work, shave away.
as for your hood, you could also do something like monmix did and add scopes to it.

and you deffently HAVE to do blue l.e.d.s! :D

I love the LEDs your doing for me! Thank you I can't wait to get them! As for the Shaving I think I will keep the handles but not the key holes. I will ditch the whipper too. The 2" drop wont effect it that much wont it just sit like a 2wd explorer? The snow does not get deep in Anchorage and we have 1000's of plows on the road if it does! I found some hoods how big of a cowl should I get? http://www.up22.com/ranger.htm

No idea why it says:
1993 -1997 Ranger "Race Weight Hoods"
and 95-97 Explorer

Should all be the same to 2001 am I not right?
