limp mode 2013 Explorer

Limp mode 2013 Explorer...was on the freeway at night when the car went into limp mode. Very scary but made it to the sholder OK. Never knew about this problem! I would give it gas an nothing above idle would go. Got the idea like with a computer to turn the car OFF and restart...bingo that worked and got us home! Got an after market NEW throttle body installed and all good now...even better gas mileage! I do not remember the name of the TB.
