LMAO Look what this dumb@$$ did...

I must agree with that... There is nothing wrong with a well done import. I would love to have a 3000gt or a supra... of course I would only drive it rarely bc I cant stand being low to the ground anymore, but sitlll. gotta give credit where its due...

i read some more of that stuff. really guys... bring it! why hate on stuff solely based on the number of cylinders?
I don't hate cars with less cylinders, but it all comes down to physics. With less cylinders, you WILL have less displacement, a physical disadvantage that is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to combat. V8s produce more HP than any 4 cylinder stock, that isn't to say that the 4 bangers can't be upgraded- but so can the V8s. Upgrades in the power band are logarithmic, thus the impact of various add-ons will be greatly enhanced with higher initial performance.

that is all very true- but in the same respect the initial weight of the car has a lot to do with the handling and very few cars of any kind can handle with a nicely modded rx7 which is in a large part due to its low weight which comes from its little rotary.

I'll admit that the rx7 in that picture needed an obscene amount of $$$ to reach the power threshold it is at, but the end result is in many ways better than a mustang with the 800-900 hp it would need to keep up. It handles better and it needs less power (particularly less torque to keep up and even dust the heavier car) That rx7 weighs no more than half what my explorer weighs!

I won't fight you on that one, that's a great little car! I wish more cars had the rotaries, there is soooo much potential for obscene amounts of HP.

YEEHAW!!

I saw a comercial where Mazda is releasing a new high performance rotary. Any one know about it? I've always been a rotary fan.

I think it's the RX-7. I'm surprised they were able to get approval from the EPA. If I recall, that was a major problem when Mazda first came out with their rotary...
Great little engine.

well, i had a great picture of what i consider to be "rice" next to a car that i hold very highly, the toyota supra, but i don't know how to load it on here for all of you to see. Personally when i go out to race, i go for drags. the cobra mustangs, topped out ss camaros and the z06 corvettes are the only thing close to keeping up with toyota's TRD cars and similar cars such as the rx7. all of them are great cars in there element. can anyone tell me how to load a pic on here cause i really think this will describe the difference of what we see as rice and what is a true state of the art performance car... oh, it's the rx8 this time around that mazda used to bring back the rotary engine.

Ok guys, I've let this go on for to long. This thread has gone about 3 different ways. 2 of those ways does not need to be here. Get back on subject or this thread is closed.

"You break it you bought it" LOL Poor chap

All I have to say is that the Nissan Skyline is my favorite car out there, even though they don't sell in the US. If I had money I would buy one!! The stock skyline is sick, and the right-handed steering wheel is one cool thing!
