I think you may be confusing the ignition switch with the ignition cylinder, Seth. Although they are both on the steering column. Follow the link posted above if your curious.
Thanks guys it was the one under the dash on the column. I didn't have a clue where it was located when i pulled the covers off. Didn't realize it was stuck way down the steering column.
