- 1984 bronco II
hi, couple of days ago I bought an 84 xlt bronco 2. The poor thing's falling apart so I really wanna get back into good condition. Breaks are worn, but before I can change the rotors I need to get the spindle lock nuts off. from what I could figure, the lock nut's diameter is about 2 1/4 inches, I coudn't get an EXACT measurement since the spline shaft is in the way.
doing some research online - http://cache01.voyageurweb.com/otctools.com/products/2006catalog/pg155-159AutoSpec.pdf - it would appear that the specialty socket I'm looking for is actually the 2 3/8. which has me pretty confused, could someone with a stock (or near stock) 84 bronco 2 clear this matter for me?
what size spindle nut socket do I need? Thanks in advance for the help
