lookin to instal Db drive sub and amp(stock head unit)

i have a full db drive stereo system, adapters, speakers, mids, 12" sub, amp, head unit.

im lookin to just keep my stock head unit for now and install my sub and amp.
i have all teh wiringn needed for a full system install

help me out?
can i do it?
tips, and required tools plz?
some auto experience, not alot of electrical
list of instructions?

factory head unit doesnt have rca wires for sound

Put in the aftermarket h/u, I put a sub in mine with the factory one and was dissapointed with the results, it's a couple times louder with the aftermarket unit. To get a signal for the sub you have to use an adapter on one pair of speaker outputs to get an rca in for the amp. And the signal just isn't strong enough.

i have a sun and amp with my factory deck, you just have to buy a line output converter.it does the job

Yup, just get a Hi-Lo converter (Walmart sells a scosche 4ch one for ~20USD)
That will provide the RCA's to hook up your amp(s)
That's how I have it in mine, and it works as I want it

I used a PAC OEM-2 converter.

It also took the Ford 5V turn-on and converted it into a 12V. It also has a 2 second delay of the turn-on lead.

sweet guys thanks, does the plastic around the seteros/ac controls just pop off?
i should be able to put the a/m head unit in myself

well of course all teh fiting r different sixes, im stupid ha. ill just pay to have the head unit put in, then ill put the sub and amp in myself
