2018 Explorer XLT
I had a 2013, sold it for 2 Camaros the last 6 years. I'm done being 18...lol. I'm looking into a 2018 xlt with sport appearance package. Nice incentives now, but the dealers on long island, are insane with the lease prices. I get xplan pricing, and $4500 in rebates. The msrp is in the $47k range...so total price around $41k. I'm getting quotes of $500 or more for 36mo, 10k miles a year, with $2k total at signing. This sounds about AT LEAST $75 a month too much. Are people seriously paying this much??

Sounds about right.
Looking around, residual value is about 55%.
47,000 msrp = 21150 depreciation.
$2000 down roughly covers TTL.

21150/36 months = 587.50

This is all "back of the napkin" estimates.

I paid CAD $52K OTR for a MY2016 EX Sport!

Well, I found a 2018 Demo, 3k miles, PERFECT condition, 36mo, 10,500 miles a year, $2k Total Due at signing, including 1st mo payment, $375 a month! Happy to be in an Explorer again.

Nice looking vehicle. Now all that's left is to update your profile.
