loss of power going up hill

My 99 ex xlt 4.0 seems like it is struggling going up hills, and on acceleration on flat surfaces too...There is some shaking or vibration that is present when this happens too...What gives???

When you have trouble going up hills, with hard acceleration or have hesitations on COLD mornings its usually a cloged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump.

I agree sounds like a fuel system problem, check the fuel pressure
