It is a 1993 Ford Explorer, V6 manual. As the title states, it has loss of power when accelerating, and the engine doesn’t run quite right either. It might go away after I have used it half an hour or so, so it doesn’t really seem to be just that it only happens when it is cold. It has new plugs and wires and coil pack. I just replaced the fuel filter, we cleaned the mass airflow sensor, and I cleaned the throttle body and replaced the air filter. What else could there be causing this problem? It ran good until I let it sit for about a month or so, and then this started once I started back using it out of the blue.

by the way, I didn’t think to mention that the coil pack and plugs and wires we’re all cheap ones. Could it be that the coil pack has went bad already? I probably haven’t put 1000 miles on it yet.

Did you get the plug wires installed correctly, it's pretty easy to put them on in the wrong location.
