Hi All
This is my first post and I did search on my issue. I have a 98 4x4 unmodified. My idle is now very low and stalls. I replaced the TPS and I have no codes in the computer. I checked the resistance, volts on the IAC and all within specs. I ordered a new IAC and have to wait 2 days.

It seems to me after reading the posts, that I need to clean the IAC with electronics cleaner and this could take care of the problems. Cleaning the MAF sensor could also help.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you in advance, this forum seems to be a great resource for information.

...those are 2 great fixes for your problem along with checking the air filter...:D
...after you resolve this issue you might want to also try seafoam...;)

OK maybe I shouldn't ask this, what do you mean by seafoam?

...seafoam is a miracle engine cleaner to say the least...there are plenty of write-ups on it here...deepcreep is another one of seafoams products thats pretty good too...:D
