lower rad hose damaged from fan belt

anyone experianced this? as mine did this last night, ended up using electrical tape to seal the pin hole it made, the hose sits very close to the belt which i have not noticed before. phoning fruads tommrow for a hose

I think fcat is headed out to the US shortly, if you have difficulty maybe you could ask him to bring you one back from the US?

Curious if the motor ( and trans) mounts could be flexing allowing the belt--pulleys to move into contact?

dont worry guys, it was my fualt on this, after i replaced the power steering pump i had routed the fan belt the wrong way so from AC straight to crank (in the area of the lower hose) have just corrected now after looking at my dads, DOH !

If you have to wait for the hose then you could get some hose repair tape to tide you over. Harris hose repair tape
I have had good results using this stuff. Not a permanent fix but will last a while!
