LSD Question

Hello fellow explorer drivers

I got a question one of my friends has a 02 Sport Trac and he was wondering if it has a posi rear end, LSD.

Theres really no way to tell because each car is different but if you look at his rear end pumpkin there should be a metal tag that is connected to one of the diff bolts. It'll say the gear ratio something like this:
3 L 55
The L stands for Limited Slip. Another way to check is inside the drivers door. There should be a sticker in there that has a code number on it. Should say something like D4. Do a search for gear ratio codes and I'm sure you'll find a match. My dad has an 02 Sport trak and on the rear pumpkin is says 4 L 10 for 4.10 gears w/ limited slip. Hope this helped you.
