I have a 1991 Explorer that started off as an auto. I pulled a M5OD from a 1993 Explorer Sport, and bought a 1992 Explorer 5 Speed computer to go with the swap.
My main question is, if I attempted to reuse my auto trans harness, would my explorer run correctly? I know I might have to wire in reverse lights later on, but my main goal is to get the thing moving.
Another thing that is a royal PITA seems to be the slave cylinder to hydro line connection. I can not for the life of me push the thing in to the point of it snapping in there and staying. Is there a trick for this? Should it be easy, and maybe I just have to buy a new line?
