Mac Intake Offroad???

Anyone have any experience (good or bad) with the Mac intake off road? How big of an issues is the open filter design? I only do some mid level wheeling; nothing too crazy, with the occasional water filled pothole or mild stream crossing.

if your really worried about it put a piece of plastic under the filter to sheild the bottom from spray.
