Major Project in the works

well today i went over one of my buddys house and he had his center counsle on a 92 Eddie tore out....i was like what the **** are you doing hes like building a new center counsle.

so i went home i was thinking what shall i do to the mighty x now...so i ripped out the center counsle just to clean under it and get whatever fell between my seats and counsle. I got it all out, cleaned the carpet and polished up the dash..go to say i end up keeping it out

Now my question is what should i put there maybe bulild a console and move my cd player there and get a Digital EQ and put them there with two custom cupholders, or something i don't know what to put....i need HELP!!!!!

O and after taking out the center it makes your ride so much more Spacyy....very nice touch about 45 mins takin out trying to figure what to unscrew

dvd player and a 7.5" screen or a playstation 2 that way u can play games and watch dvds with one toy. thats my next move.

what are you making the console out of? i thought about doing this also but didnt know what to make it out of so it would still look cool.

well i was gonna use Mdf 3/4 and then maybe cover it with vinal or maybe same carpet as floor
put cupholders in it and switches and move my dcplayer down i thought it would look great all flesh mounted

I have been thinking of doing a custom console myself lately. I just went out and bought a in dash tv, cd changer, and playstation 2 for my truck. Also have been trying to come up with some way to mount all of this so it is hidden but still accesible to me. Right now i have both the playstation and cd changer under the rear seat just for now. I do like it there and might end up keeping it there but make it all almost hidden (as in make a sort of box to hold it and carpet it and put a light there to be able to see when needed). Anyone else have any ideas? I would really appreciate it.

i'd make it outta diamond plate, but that wouldnt be too comfortable on the elbows.

Yeah that would hurt a little. Ive looked into making diamond plate floor mats but that would get kinda expenesive plus not to mention bending it too.
