awhile back i put a 40 series flowmaster on my 4.0L '95 Explorer sport - Single in dual out, with hopes of getting that nice flowmaster sound. I was inspired by a co worker who has a little mazda pickup (around a '95 i believe) with flows, and the ####er sounds like a 5.0 V8!!!! I put the flows on my truck, it sounds a little beefier but still like a v6!!!
I asked the guys at the muffler shop why my car still sounds like a v6, and he said it was because of my cat's - SO MY QUESTION Is there any truth to this, and if so, what cat should i buy to get a beefy flowmaster sound out of my v6 in conjunction with the flows i already have installed. AND how much would that cost roughly for parts and install
