So I ordered this adapter and K&N filter off a site. Well the holes didn't line up. I over read that it fit the Ford 4.7 and 5.0 engines one being the v8. I have been thinking about upgrading the MAFS to a larger one. Just trying to get some better MPG, and power. Is there one that I can mount to this adapter. I guess if not I will drill new ones. Shouldn't be to difficult.

The holes on the adapter are a little off not by much. I have already marked off the places to drill. So I will do this if nothing will work for a MAFS. Yes I know that these two pieces don't go together, but they both bolt to the same place of the MAFS.

I just drilled new holes and mounted it about 15 mins ago. That thing sounds mean. I cant tell if any power was made. Not much I am sure.

Question how do you remove the lower air box?
