MFT(Sync2) to Sync3 V3.4 Upgrade Minor Issue

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have the same issue after upgrading to Sync3 Ver3.4(Dual Climate Control)button
doesn't turn on once turn off(Video Attached). Everything works perfectly except Dual Climate control
on and off.

Dual climate control repeater is "ON" in APIM: 7D0-04-01-0103-0200-00E2
(2013 Ford Explorer LTD)

Kindly advice if anyone knows how to fix this problem.

What is your vin. Please take a photo of your APIM as built data and send me. It looks like a conflict in APIM as built data configuration
 






Curious what features were gained by going to 3.4?
 






How did you upgrade to 3.4?
 












Here is the config I used on a 2013 upgraded to v3.4. I do think there was still an issue where the dual climate button always reflected the opposite setting vs. the physical button but everything still worked.

Save as a text file then import to FORScan to see the correct formatting

Mine does the same, on touch screen it shows exactly the opposite to the climat controls buttons on dash. Most is working fine, but some, once activated on touch screen impossible to turn off except by using buttons on front dash.

What is the trim level of that 2013 Explorer this APIM config for?

The dual climate button issue (as well as the rear climate on/off being reversed, there being a max defrost button that doesn't work, and heated steering wheel showing up in the AC sub menu if you have it) are all artifacts of using 3.4 on a CGEA 1.2 vehicle. I've asked in multiple groups and all CGEA 1.2 vehicles have these issues if they have the associated equipment, EG 13+ Taurus, Flex, MKT, MKS and 11-15 explorers. It will have to be fixed either via a mod or if Ford happens to randomly fix it even though 3.4's support of legacy CGEA 1.2 is basically just a carryover of the 3.0 base code apparently. No CGEA 1.2 vehicle ever had or will have 3.4 as far as anyone can tell.
