MFT Update is now back up!

I just downloaded the update over at syncmyride. It appears Ford put the update back up.

I almost want to wait a few days to see if it gets pulled again.

Rebecca, I believe you said with the last update that it was safe to drive while it was updating. Is this true for this update?

I'll be updating tonight.

I would say you're among a small minority... I also find it hard to believe you wouldn't have access to a windows or mac computer. And if all else fails the upgrade is free from your dealership.

I use Linux daily in my professional life, I'm not bashing it by any means. It's just hard to believe you don't have a minimal dual boot with some version of windows given that you will inevitably be required to use windows/mac for something in any given week/month/year.

I do have access to a windows machine at home...but I'm at work and wanted to install it on my way home (hour commute). I guess another day

No. For the few people that were able to download and install it early, we don't foresee any issues with the software. So you should be A-OK, Xcel!

I just picked it up this morning after getting all the TSB's done - what a bummer!

Any idea why I can't download my own..? I have downloaded earlier versions..

Nice to see temp back. Looks like some work was done on Sync, new apps coming unless I missed this in last version? Maybe it was in prior version...hmmm.

As far as speed. seems same to me. Can't really see any difference to MFT except temp and maybe a new font? Time will tell if any more stable. I used reboot software after all was done.

Installed the latest version this morning on the way to work with no issues. Glad the temp. is back on the home screen along with a slightly larger font, and maybe its just me, but the touch screen seems more responsive. Other than these updates seems the same as in the past. Time will tell if it is more stable than the prev. version.
