So, I'm trying to get rid of my Ex before the HG problems gets outa control, I flushed my collant system and then applied this Bar's Leak Head Gasket repair addative to the collant, ran it like it said and then drained it and filled her up again with anti.
2 questions;
1> will the remaining addative slightly change the color of my antifreeze? the suff i poured in was thick and almost a copper color, pulling the cap it looks fine, but in the overflow, it looks kinda brownish.
2>if my HG is badenough (milkshake-oil/antifreeze), will the collant seep into the oil or will the oil seep into the collant? in any case, i changed my oil when i flushed the collant system ~ 2 weeks ago, could i tell if there is collant in the oil by pullin the dip stick? what signs should i look for?
Oh yea, if i trade it in on a new one, how long do i have for them to reverse the trade? or, is it all final once i sign. I live in Oregon if that makes a differece.
Thanks guys,
Tony
