I use to get around 310 as what the gauge tells me, but recently I have not been able to hit 300 anymore. Went from 17mpg to 13. SUCKS!

Same here but I went from 21ish to now my message center says 12, are you kidding me, stupid city, highways are amazing

I will get about 310 miles at 98% highway. I will get about 250 miles at 50% city 50% highway. That's with full 22 gallon tank.

are you driving mostly in the city? my x isnt so great in town but on the freeway i can go over 400 miles on one tank. gotta keep it under 60 mph though. the best i ever did on one tank is just over 500 before i modded mine out. it was a scary deal but it was quite a feat!

even on the highway I did not get 400 miles lol. Its probably doesnt help that I drive with a lead foot hahaha.

Driving back home from Orlando takes me 6 hours and I got 420 miles out of the tank with around 21 gallons full and that was going 78 on the speedometer which is really 75 the whole way. City/Hwy driving I'll get about 350 per tank. I know about the lead foot lol. I let my brother borrow my X to drive to Tennessee in a trade for his 2011 Mustang he didn't want to rack the miles on it lol. He gave to me at 25 MPG and I gave it back to him at 18 MPG haha. That magna flow sounded so good.

Past 3-4 tanks I've pulled ~12 mpg :\

I've been getting 210ish on 14 gallons all city for the past few months. I've never ran my truck down to the gas light though, hell, I've never seen that light come on, and I put 20 gallons in at a fill up before. Very bad gas milage for a v6..., but I've been watching my torque converter closely over the past month, it only seems to lock up when it wants too, and wont lock up in the cold(below 20degrees). Might have the stealership check the tranny level per Nate Harris' instruction

I've put 21.7 in and still haven't seen my light come on lol...maybe it's broken? :D

owners manual says the gas tank capacity is 22.5 gallons... since i swapped my gauges, idk if the mounty cluster has a low fuel light or if it was in the message center, my truck didnt come with a message center but the mounty cluster had it

With the 4.0 I can squeeze 380-390 out of 20 or so gallons. That's driving 98% highway 80 miles round trip 6 days a week with 265/70/16 tires, I got close to the same with 265/75/16 which I'm going back to when these tires are shot

Either get a smart car or sell the boat lol

Don't be ridiculous.

I dont have a light, but my message center tells me low fuel at 50 miles to empty. Which is on the line.

I wounder if that means when the light comes on we have about 50 miles

I CAN NOT imagine not having my message center!! I always leave it on how many miles I have left on my tank, like right now I have 168 miles until empty and it is at the half mark.

on mine a light comes on that says "check gage". Ive been told it has about 2 gallons left at this point

Just got gas this morning. I got 398.4 out of 20.71 gal. My math says that's 19.2 miles per gal. Does anyone know if since I have 265/70/16 how off that number is? At 4.05 per gal for the cheap stuff that's still too much

What was your stock size? Being that you have taller than stock size, you are turning lower RPM's on the HWY and that will net a little better gas mileage(assuming you have the power to easily turn them). Also being that your tires are taller than stock, your readings will be inaccurate.
