Modifications Vs Factory Warranty

Hi folks, I just bout my X ('03 Sport).

I want to do a 3" lift. If I lift the X, it will void my warranty, will it not? Will it void the whole warranty? or just that portion pertaining to the suspension?

It may void the suspension part of your warranty, but the dealer has to prove that any modifications you did are the reason a component failed for the dealer to not honor the warranty. If you lift the truck and the rear wiper stops working, your warranty will be valid. If you lift the truck and your shock mount breaks off, you're probably SOL.
