Moog upper ball joint seal question

Got my upper control arm/ball joint today. Looks like Fedex backed over the box. Seal is bent... I'm guessing its not supposed to be??

It looks bent, but it's a has a "snap" ring in it that should flatten out once you get it on the balljoint. If anything, call the place you bought it from and tell them to send you a new seal.
