fyi 3.08 suck no wonder your looking for more power:D

So ill need a locker and what about the gears should I wait till i get them to put it on or what

is this your dd and do you drive it far alot.i assume you will not be able to do gears your self, not easy to do!!i would do gears and the lockers first and would go with 4.88 just in case you ever want 36 or decide to go 36.it will cost you a pretty penny to gears and the lockers but that will make the BIGGEST improvement,it will be like a whole new truck and really fast till you get tires!!also will help out 4x4 till you get a lift and bigger tires.plus gears will be easy to sell if you ever have to.great investment:thumbsup:

you need an master install kit and then the gears,if you go 33 you might want to do 4.56 to save a little gas.but you can use any gear as long as it says 8.8 31 spline

you may want to call who ever that will be installing them and ask them for prices because they can sometime get a discount on gears and install kits.

alright and what do you recommend for tires and a lift for playin in mud and dd

35x12.50 bfg mud tires and a 5.5 lift with a 3" body lift with 4.88 locked.it will look real good and do allright in mud.or 33x12.50 & just a 5.5 lift with 4.56 locked,be a little cheaper but since your 2wd i would want the most ground clearnce so you wont drag anything in the mud and would be easyer for two wheels to get through
