More Power - Guaranteed!

I work at checker as a second source of income and this guy came in saying that if you add half a quart of ATF to your oil that it will clean everything out. He said he took off his valve covers and they were spotless. It only takes a couple of people to try something before it catches on. Kind of like the power steering fluid in your diff if you are seeping, it will swell up the seals. Imagine the guy who first tried this one. I still would not put food additives in my car though.

the Reason people use ATF is cause it expands seal diesels would use these to expand the seals in the cylinders for compession. but its not good to leave in there... and i would never add it to my oil.... you can use power stearing in your diffs for seapin cause it expands ... but these are all cheap ways to avoid a problem a little longer... my advice would be fix it right the first time. bon ami is awesome.... also works good as a mild buffer for paint and works wonders removing small scratches and such... every body shop has it.

Bonus Tip #3

To effectively clean out your Radiator simply drop in a BOX of Denture Cleaning Tablets into the Radiator (Make Sure Motor Is Cool)

Let this sit for about 1 hour, then drain and fill with new coolant

You will be AMAZED at how well your X cools

Stay Tuned 4 More Tips!!!

no i would definatly not do that.... with an alum radiator. alum reacts to mant differant chemicals and depending what kinda of collant you use it could react differant.... you ever mix toilet bowl clener with alum? it EXPLODES! this tip could very well eat the alum away corrode the hell of it.... im steer away. save your self the hassel and use the toilet bowl cleaner.... least it be cool.

Bonus Tip # 4

When it comes to getting your X's paint finish to shine beautifully...

First wash your X to remove all dirt

Then take one Jar of Mayonaise and with a slightly damp cloth, buff in the Mayo using small circular motions.

Buff the entire vehicle until all Mayonaise has been applied

Then with with a dry cotton cloth, gently dry buff

BEWARE - your X will shine like never before!!!

ExplorerForum does not recommend nor condone these tips. Try them at your own risk, if something happens that adversely effects your vehicle, blame no one but yourself for trying these asinine sounding tips!

I am not putting mayonaise on my paint.

Whats next bologne in the hot sun o remove scratches?

It is a shame that so many people have a negative outlook on things...

I have been a member of this board for about two years now

I have made many recommdations and have replied to many posts

Up until now, people seemed more receptive to help and suggestions.

Come on guys - if you don't like the tips I've outlined / then Don't Try Them

As for your bologne tip "410Fortune" to remove scratches - I get the feeling you are mocking me

Perhaps you should try something new before assuming it won't work

It appears you have a closed mind - Some of us here, however are open to suggestions and invite new things!!!

Again - if you dont like the tips - dont use them!

I could care less - I only want to help those that indeed want it

How does many equate to 50 posts in 2 years?

i've heard of people using mayo on other paint finishes such as a bike but haven't seen it done to a car yet. guess it's all the same.

Come on now, I want to see pictures of you putting mayonaisse on your paint, letting it dry, and then buffing it off. I believe a large jar of miricle whip is more expensive then a bottle of good car wax, which is designed to protect paint, so who in their right mind would use anything else based on something they read online. Who in the world wnats to smell hot mayonaisse anyways? we all know what happens when that stuff dries and turns yellow, it;s not pretty. Ever notice that car wax's are scented? This is for your enjoyment as you wax the paint, also they probably spent thousands of dollars developing the right smell that makes people happy when they are waxing, so I would prefer to use something designed for the purpose, that smells good.

I am open minded, I just like to see proof before hearsay when it comes to my truck.

Obviously you can see my point, and I can see yours. Keep posting these, I will reazd and I will not reply, just I hope everyone also takes ChuckyD's words as seriously as yours.

hum mayo in the hot sun.... so when you puke? does that shine the tires?

i am new to the board but have visited several times. yesterday i decided to try the vinegr and peant oil techniqe. I must say steveissteven is okay. after adding the solution to my truck i took a drive up to Flagstaff, AZ
It did run kinda rough for about the 1st hour, but it now runs better than ever. hard to believe something so simple acyually works. thanks 4 the tip man

Sincerely: The KinG

p.s. What is BonAmi?

Hey king, tell us more.

Where do you work as a mechanic at?

What possessed you to try this solution?
When you say "Runs better then ever" what improvements did you notice?
Why do you think it runs better now then before?

I'm curious.....

a little embarsed to say, i am a mechanic at Barker Chevrolet here in Phoenix. i had heard of this some years ago but have never tried until now

If you want an easy way to strip off your paint throw some bolonie on your car and let it sit overnight. When you peel it off you will also take the paint with it.

It is great to finally see some positive feedback to my post. I told you it worked!!!

Hey King - Bon Ami is a bathroom cleaner similar to Ajax, only it doesnt scratch at all

Thanks for the feedback dude!
