God allmighty save us all! It's decided. I have a spare unmounted edger engine sitting around. Guess what is going to be put into the gas tank asap!? I'll try it... why the hell not, that stupid thing never runs anyways... it just sits there. Sure its a bit different... but hell, might as well see if it even runs a bit. :D This is going to be great fun!

So how do I get the peanut butter past the little flap thingy in the the fill neck of the gas tank? I have it all filled up with peanut butter now and I can't get any of it to go anyplace. Also, should I be using crunchy or smooth? Crunchy is all I had.

Also, be careful when you try this... I guess I wasn't too careful about cross contamination when putting the PB into the fill neck, because now all my PBJ sammiches taste and smell like unleaded.

;-)

Wow! I'm bringing a dead thread back!

I did try this on my edger engine, although a lighter mix. I ended up taking the block off the top and scrubbing the piston and soaking everything in gas.... it didn't work AT ALL ;) Mabey it was because it was a 2 stroke, or mabey it was because it was a DUMB idea.... either way, it was funny.

Actually the best way to cheaply shine a sidewall of a tire is regular old motor oil... not the synthetic :D. Spread it on and wipe the white letters on your tires with laquer thinner. After about a month of the motor oil it will eventually soak in to the rubber and you won't have to apply any more... just rub it clean.

im rather confused here

O god, not this thread. Hmmm, Maybe I should try this mix in the quad? It seems quite sluggish

I wouldn't oil my sidewalls, as oil isn't the best for rubber.

It isn't the best and I don't do it ( I use eagle one wet tire shine) but I saw it on TV from some detailing pro in CA.

Jeez I remember this one.
How in the world did it get to 5 pages !!!!!!!!!!!

I recently read a number of these tips in The Weekly World News

I wasn't around when it started but, I sure am glad that I read it. What a trip. It's amazing what some people will pass along as "good advice". Ha HA.

well i just read this whole thread for the first time....

wow.... lol

great thread

i know this is an old thread but i just have to say this is a great thread im walking over to the neighbors car right now to see if it works

LOL, I must have missed this one the first time around....

who knows, stranger stuff has worked, but I think I'll avoid trying it......

BTW, I do wonder how steveissteven can be in Las Vegas and 4x4King can be in Phoenix when they both have the exact same IP address :D

HAHA. That's grand. I had to reread the thread because of that.:)

OUCH!

oh come on we knew they were the same person before the proof was in didnt we?

:)

Personally I think it sucks to try and get people to do things to their car that would potentially cause thousands of $$$ in damage, then again if you are dumb enough to try, I have a bridge to sell you. :)

then again if you are dumb enough to try, I have a bridge to sell you.
Yeah, and I have an auto trans for sale. ;)

Too funny!

Just DON"T put bleach in the gas tank, unless you call the fire dept. first.:D

Kaboom!

Hey King - Bon Ami is a bathroom cleaner similar to Ajax, only it doesnt scratch at all

Thanks for the feedback dude!

I used to install Acrylic tubs and Bon Ami was the only cleaner we would recommend for cleaning because it didn't scratch the acrylic, so it makes sense that it would work well on teh auto glass.
