Motor Mounts

Should the Motor Mounts, (or at least the holes to attach the motor mounts) be the same on a 94 ranger engine and 96 explorer engine? I.E. Can you put a 94 motor into a 96?(electronics aside) Also, were talking about 4.0 V6.

The motor mounts are different but you can swap motor mounts. 94 motor is a bit different than a 96, part on the motor and parts that attach to it are different. You're better off getting yourself a 96+ motor.
