Does anyone know how much a dealership would charge me for a set of Motorcraft plug wires for my 2000 5.0?

Thanks

When I checked last month, they were $ 186.00 for the factory set. I went with the Taylor wires from Summit Racing for $86.00

$186.00 ! Are you serious? Why so much?

Does anyone know if the Bosch set sold at Autozone would be any good?

As long as they're hung properly, they'll be fine.

What do you mean "Hung" properly?

As long as the wires are hung in their origonal place, not rubbing on anything or touching the exhaust or anything. Although I think the dealership should be hung properly too for charging that much! LOL
Peace

I tried those also before I went with the Taylors. I had the on 1 week before the # 7 plug shorted out causing it to miss. I put the Taylors on and have had no problems.

I just bought a set yeterday and picking up today for my 2002.. and it was $120.99
i was kind of shocked ...

Ford Parts Network for my 96 5.0.... I think I paid $93 and some change.

Ford Parts Network ROCKS !!!!

at a dealer for my T-bird with the 4.6 i paid about 70 to 80 bucks.

Bought new wires for my dad's 98 F-150 at carquest for roughly 90 bucks, was gonna be around 120 bucks at a dealer.
