haha the kmcs are waiting till i get home to get mounted up. i'm kicking myself in the butt for buying them tho. i found new wheels i like better. plus the new wheels i found are cheaper
as for being a fat pig i agree. my buddy told me that it looks very nice in the garage. its like man decor for a garage. pics will be up asap once he gets them to me. i told him to take pics of it on the lift if he can

DO IT, DO IT, DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! Go big or go home! In the back of my mind, I want to lift the Explorer, I just feel that it will become less practicle for my daily use. My GF is only 5'2" and she wouldn't like jumping up into the Ex because she didn't like jumping into my Ranger(10"lift, SAS, 35's and 302V8). But I want you to do what I won't, SAS front and rear with a 4-link setup and King Coilover Race shocks. Coupled with a built and blown 4.6 stroker and beefed tranny, it will be SICKKKKK! If you can't smoke it, drive over it

haha i'm thinking the same. my buddy with a wrangler wants my kmc 20s and 33s so i might sell them to him and buy the other 20s and 35 inch mud grappers. (i think i buy more rims then i do underwear)then 4.88 gears front and rear if i could find gears for the mounty. so far thats my biggest issue is finding gears for it. I found 4.11 gears but i'd much rather 4.88s behind the 5.0.

i showed my GF my buddies wrangler thats lifted 8 inches with 37s. all she said was do it!!!!!! make your truck as high as the jeep. haha i love her. I thought about making 4 half doors for the mounty but idk how it would look. just junk yard shop and buy 4 doors then pull the glass and chop them up and re weld em

i like the way yours looks but lifted with your wheels i think it would look hella good. come on you know you wanna join the lifted club haha. you know those auto lowering side steps lower down a good amount

I have already done the lifted route and doubt I will do it again soon. Right now I am about SPEED!!! I went to my dads yesterday to mess with my Ranger because it's for sale and I took some pics next to my Explorer. If I ever lift the Explorer, I will be doing a straight axle swap F/R because I feel it's easier than people think. At least my Ranger was a walk in the park. I also have a 1972 Ford Bronco w/351W that may be going up for sale soon.

god if i lived closer i would pick up the bronco in a heart beat!!! i had a 79 bronco with a 460 in it 11 inch lift(8 inch suspension/3 inch body) and 42s on it. clean as can be not a bit of rust. i say sell the ranger, lift the bronco and supercharge the explorer. that way you have lifted, sport and speed. haha

dam i bet you miss seeing everything while you drive!!!

It's hard to fathom selling the bronco because both my dad and grandpa had one. The one I have is a Sport model which is considered like a Lariat of today. I haven't even got to drive it yet. Just put a new motor in and now it's just sitting in storage at my gramps(5 years ) Just not sure if I will have the money and time to fix it up. Pretty clean other than the rusted floorboards. I had another 70' that I sold 2 months ago that I used most of the drivetrain out of for the Ranger. Got $700 dollars for that bare rustbucket Other thing is, the Bronco is appreciating, unlike the explorer. If you get some extra cash, send me a PM and you might have a classic Bronco

What bike do you have? I have been thinking of getting a Buell Lightning XB12ss in black. I like the Buell 1125R they have, but it's another 3 grand. Figured I could spend that money on some modes and riding gear for the Lightning. My girl and I just put an offer on a house and they counter offered for more than what they are asking!!! I really want a house so I can work on the ex because I just got back from driving around and the rear caliper is sticking. When I come to a stop, thing smokes like a mother!!! I thought it was on fire at first! Anyway, when are you coming back again?

i'll be home for good in feb 2010. i just talked to my girl and she wants to know a price. she said she wants me to get it haha. is it your ebrake because mine did the same thing the ebrake pad just fell apart and almost locked up the one rear wheel

That's actually what I was thinking about the brake when I stopped to look at it. I will have to look into it as soon as possible. I was sitting in traffic, smelled something burning and saw a bunch of smoke, thought S**T trucks on fire! Pulled off and looked around and the brake was smoking. I was relieved!!!!

I can't imagine how fast your bike is. My dad has a 1995 CBR1000F and it's about 600lbs and 135HP. Very fast for what it weights, but yours is about 200lbs lighter and a few more HP. Wife wants you to buy my Bronco now? Lucky *******, my girl freaked out when I bought my wheels and hates my car hobby. Does your wife have a hot sister? I'll PM you on the price.

haha 200mph comes fast thats all i can say. i hit right around 200 once or twice coming home at about 7 pm on the highway. cop flick there lights on then just shut them off. i'm getting out of the speed thing now pretty much but i'll never be outta the car addiction.

my girl gets mad if i don't customize her car and teach her how tto do stuff. i showed her a pic of what i could turn it into and she fell in love. i'm thinking if i buy it the mountaineer will get the parts i bought for it installed then put on hold. my sportsman and her sportsman will be sold then i'll take out a loan to build the bronco

In the last month here, I have seen two 66-77 bronco that have been restored and sporting at least 33's. One was a Sport and the other a regular. They looked beautiful. My goal was a 408 stroker with AFR 185's and fuel injection, Super 44 flowmaster with 3in exhaust, built AOD and lifted with 35's. Color was going to be either Black or DSG and interior was going to be a saddle or charcoal color. Just wanted to add a 7" DVD/ Nav headunit with some full range speakers in the doors plus one JL Audio 13.5 W7 sub in the rear. So it will look like a stock bronco in and out, just run like a raped ape and make you go deaf(I nearly am anyway) I am getting excited now. Anyone want to buy my Explorer?

Sorry not running. If it was, I wouldn't be selling it I am in no hurry to get rid of it because they are getting harder to find these days(in decent shape) But if you are game, then I am too. I'll get you some more pictures in a few days.
