No relays? Got some heavy duty switchs? I bought a set of off road lights from canadian tire just like those and the wiring "kit" it came with had no relays either, the switch it came with melted after a while of use :/

I have the switches it came with, no problems yet. Each line also has an in-line fuse. Hopefully it'll be OK. I don't expect to have them on for any really long period of time anyway.

Thanks Jiggs.

Without relays at least make sure that the amp rating on the switch is higher than the amp rating of the fuse so the switch does not act as the fuse and melt.

I got the same lights and i have never had a problem even with having them on for a few hrs

Yep, I think the switches are 12 and the fuses 10.

No problem bro.
Are there actually places to off road in that dirty little town of yours?:D
GO PATS!!!!

Yea, we're heading down to the Pine Barrens on Sunday for a little mud runnin'. Feel free to join, the thread is in the off road planning forum.

Good, nothing like a 49 cent part failing when you need it the most. Better safe than sorry. Looks sweet on top of the X. Just don't get accused of creating a new airport by the local police. Not that I know that from personal experience though.:D

I have those same lights...but i swapped out the bulbs to 100w, ive had them for 2 years with no problems.
