MPG with A/T Tires.

That's what i am running right now, i think you will be pleased. They are fairly quiet on the road, i didn't notice any gas mileage drop, they are wearing very nicely, and they have pretty nice grip in snow, mud and pavement. Not to mention they are cheaper than a lot of the other AT tires

so far in light snow I havnt even had to put my 4x4 on, its been sitting in RWD (did the BWM) and I cant get the back wheels to spin! and I havnt filled up yet, but mileage seems to be about the same, give or take.

any updates on whether you saw much of a gas mileage difference with 265s? I'm considering doing the same... I'm already down at around 14mpg average... don't really want it to get much lower...

Just stumbled into this post...

I've got a '04 V8 4WD, full synthetic fluids
Pre-Lift with OEM sized tires (~29's) @ 32 psi : 16 city 19 Highway
Lift and 265/75/R16 BFG AT's (~31.5's)@ 32 psi : 10 city 12 Highway
Lift and 265/75/R16 BFG AT's (~31.5's)@ 50 psi : 12 city 15 Highway

I run the tires at 50 psi to reduce my rolling resistance, but you're still going to take a pretty 'uge hit on fuel economy (near 25%)... I'm looking into re-gearing to get back some mileage. And maybe an e-fan.

On my 4.0 V6 with 3.73 gears....

285/75/16 Terra Grappler AT's @ 40psi I get 10 city, 12 hwy

That is with 10% ethanol fuel. If I'm lucky and in an area that has a station that's ethanol free, add about 2-3mpg to those figures. Quite a bit has to due with the fuel, ethanol fuel is not good for mileage at all :thumbdwn:
