Wow, did you ever strip that puppy down! Sad to see another Ex off to the boneyard. :(

You PAID to scrap it!?!?!?

So sad though :(
If I had todo that to one of mine, it would feel like letting a member of the family go :/

I'm sorry for your loss. Mine just got crushed on tuesday after I had stripped everything I wanted off of it. For me it was a sad day, but there was some relief in it too. The long ordeal of taking off all the parts I had so lovingly put on it was finally over. And it wasn't sitting there staring back at me all the time. Good luck with your caddy, I hope it will help you move on.

Yeah I basically gave mine to them for the cost of the tow. When you strip a vehicle down that far it's only worth a little bit of money as scrap metal.

im sorry for ur loss what u going to be driving now r u gonna be driving the oddssey now or what

Sorry to here buddy:(

Fortunately, a member of the Explorer Forum came out last weekend and grabbed a few items I had left which were going to be difficult to ship, and brought me a second spare tire, so the front end is rolling on two spares rather than my nice Cobra Replica wheels

But she will live on.... she is already a part of the JP Mobile:D

Wow, that dye turned out really nice. Better than I anticipated!

How are you doing? Been watching the fires which don't seem to be getting under control around there. Hope you and your family are safe!

I actally gave up on the dye pretty quick. Too time consuming after I started, So I went and got some Vinyl black paint, and in uder a hour they were done.;) If they were going in something nice...I would care more about the leather, but for a rock crawler, who cares. They came out nice though.

Fires are out by my house.

Yeah, mostly the Odyssey and my wife's Lexus ES300. And when I get the Caddy in better shape, it'll be my daily driver.

Honestly, since I'm working from home almost exclusively at the moment, I don't do a lot of driving anyhow. :-)

what kind of caddy. i got an 03 caddy deville

Every time I change gear I think of your truck :t:

Can't believe you stripped it that far. That's crazy!

Yeah, it's not terribly difficult. Having a service manual helped. You just have to be methodical. It took me a long time, but I was really only able to work on it a few hours at a time.

It's not hard to do, I had maybe 7 really good days into stripping mine down, and I went almost as far as him.
