Im 17 years old and I have a 1998 Ford Explorer XLT 2WD SOHC 4.0L V6. It is prett much all stock parts besides the stuff i have had to replace. I want to make it into a prerunner type truck, and was wondering if you had any suggestions of where i could start. Right now im thinking getting a 4 inch lift, and put 33' tires on it. Im not sure where to start, so if you have any suggestions please tell me.

Dixon Bros makes better arms than that and they eliminate the torsion bars.

However there 4x4 kit is $3500
and 2x4 2500...
without the shocks.

Uh...irrelevant much? Dixon Bros. is completely different. The DBR kits are long travel kits, and this is just a replacement upper arm. DBR kits also use balljoints, and this guy has uniballs.
