in regards to issue 1... what i did was take the bracket out drill out the rivet and use a bolt and two nuts. the nuts sandwiched the sheet metal through the existing rivet hole. i didnt have a rivet gun that big or any rivets. either way you have to drill out the existing rivet. i found there was a common problem with the rivet head things that ford put on... apparently they fall off... poor design:thumbdwn:

Thanks for the advice dude! I'll look into doing that:thumbsup:

That intake looks familur hmm :D. Glad to know a part of my mounty lives on.
As for amps, what kind of subs are the rockfords? like model number and stuff. i can't really suggest an amp with out knowing the power handling and such.
If i knew you were doing stereo i would have sent you a cd player install kit and harness with the intake.

Yeah and it sounds really good! Dont worry, Ill take good care of it... I polish it twice a day to keep it shining....in case i might have to show it off....you never know

so you're talking about this guy? Looks like you don't need much of an amp to push these.

Good: AP600 (cheapest , this is a smaller company but there amps work really nice) California profile
Better: Kenwood excellon KAC-X20 (gotta love the excellon)
Best: Memphis 16-ST300 (memphis is my fav for amps they are clear, suck a low ammount of power, and last forever)

Sorry it took so long to get back to ya, i have the flu and it was kicking my ass. thank god for gatoraid
