I got the fuel pump in after 2 hours of bs, I found a good thread with everything you need to know. After figuring out the conectors, i had it done in 30min. http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3454007&postcount=3
Next:
New master cylinder
Torque Monster install. I should have it done by tomorrow. Some of the bolts are rusted pretty good.
2in body lift. The pucks should be here Tuesday and I am picking up the nuts and bolts tomorrow. No bumper brackets needed, I will be welding up some new ones.
4406 swap. I got the case for $85 with no shift hardware. So I will be hitting the junkyard this week. I also need to locate the drive shafts, so hopefully I will be able to get both in the same trip
Warrior Shackles and TT
New windshield
Tint the windows
Walnut blast the roof and apply por15
Then shopping for rims and tires. I need some recommendations. This is what my girls and I will be getting the kayaks to bay with. Some of our spots are down sandy/muddy trails. I live 80 miles from the coast, so I am not wanting some that are extremely loud. Deflating the tires won't be an issue for the sand. I am installing a compressor in the undercarriage.
Only because of the age of the rough paint, I am going to trim and dip all of the fenders and rhino line the roof
A safari rack that I am getting off an old Sequoia will be last for now.
All of this stuff has been sitting like a shrine in my garage, now I have some time to knock it all out. I will make some sliders eventually.
