huge fan. great looking truck! I was looking at getting a safari bar but i keep flip floping between that and a traditional full brush bar. But seriously I love the way your ex looks. I've seen it in threads and it just keeps getting better. Keep it up!!

Nice, I want one.
Haha, I see it's snowing there also. Should expect more snow in the next few days.

could you please post some pictures up of how it connects to your explorer? I'm thinking of importing one and wondered how you'd fit it,

Cheers

I will get under and take a picture at some point today. Its very simple, just hooks on to the frame...

I will try and get some pictures today for you :)

Very simple to install. There are two brackets that mount to the front frame rail using exsisting holes in the frame that bolt it on.

The only thing you have to remove is the plastic cover/shroud under the radiator as it uses one of the holes on each side.

What's that cover for anyways? Would it be safe to remove? Can anything bad happen? God I'm just going crazy taking off all the tupperware..lol

that's missing off mine anyway.. as are most of the bits under the bonnet!!

It helps to flow air to the radiator.

Would it hurt to take it off? Hell, I live in Alaska.. not like I'm going to have any over heating issues.. the hottest it gets during the summer is like 100.

What's wrong with his paint? Are you talking about his bumper? I think he already worked on the paint....

there was a discussion about how his paint didn't match on another forum. Everyone told him he should go back and get the parts re-sprayed but i guess he doesn't mind the parts beening a different shade of white (yes i know its a pearl)

Looks good.

BUT--

Tell me you didn't install that with only the jack holding up the front end. Please.

I would think you could install it with no jack, or you could always do what I did when I removed my lower valance and wanted more room to work.... I climb onto some cinder blocks ..lmao

What I'm hoping is.. he use blocks? From what I understand, our Explorers park through the front.

Haha I always only use one jack, I know people get worried. But I only had it up in the air to look at it I put the bar on when it was on the ground :)
