well i just took some pics of my custom switch pannel. I know the glow thing isnt everyone's cup of tea, but i felt that i might share some pics anyways.

heres one with the flash on to simulate what it looks like during the day. (you cant see the ford outline as much during the day)

Very Nice..... I like the ford logo:D

That looks great!

Ok, I'll be the first dumbarse to ask...How did you make it or where did you buy it?...Thanks

How did I make it?

Well its actually not all that special and some people are gunna laugh but i like the way it turned out.

The blue transluscent peices of plastic are actually very stiff parts of a doccument portfolio that i bought from Savon drugstore and cut up to fit. The ford logo is one of those etched glass stickers that go on the window. It was perfect because they are already reversed (clear where the ford script is and dark around) so it worked great. I used 2 layers of plastic, put the sticker on, and then another 2 layers of plasticand glued the edges (which are hidden by the consol)

The light was origionally just a 194 blue bulb which i wired into the power source for the neons but i have upgraded to a 3in optix neon blue tube.

The setup might sound a little ghetto, but im really happy with how it turned out.

feel free to ask any more questions:)

heh yea it sounds pretty ghetto but looks awesome. good job!

that really looks awesome! Very nice!

i love it. i want one!!!!!! lol

I'm thinkin about doing something similar up in the garage door opener holder thing (since I don't use it)

Very nice looking. I turned my ash tray into a switch box. Getto'd some plastic sheet into a panel and fit lighted switches in (mini lighted rockers from Pepboys). Wanted to have a hidden factory look as it is my DD and my Bronco is a obvious modified vehicle and I can't use everything I want to. I'll try to get some pics and post them up I am really happy of the way they came out.

Nice job, It looks cool. Just think all cool ideas had to start somewhere first!
Later - Nate
