I dought they are falling out. Maybe he pulled them out after taking the front end apart. It would take a whole lot of damage to make them "fall" out. A whole lot of damage.

If your wheel bearings are falling out, your wheels would have been wobbling, and it would have been undriveable. It's possible that you cracked a bearing race along the way, and when the mechanic took the bearing out, rollers fell out of the race. If this happened, it's kinda rare. It usually occurs when your bearings retainers are not tight enough and they bang back and forth a little.

As long as your bearing cups are ok, just have new bearings installed, and the problem should be permanantly (within reason) fixed.

You would definatley know if they were FALLING out. How many miles are on them since they were last packed?

I DONT KNOW EXACTLY HOW MANY MILES ARE ON THEM BUT THEY HAVE AT LEAST 15K MILES. COULD THIS BE CAUSED BY THE SPINDLE NUT COMIN LOOSE?

Yep, the spindle nut working itself loose could do that.

Yes I can relate. I just had both of my front wheel bearings replaced at 50M on my 98. I have to believe this is a problem with the bearings being defective. I have heard this same story from many people of late. I don't go into water deep enough to be a problem even if seals were bad.
