mystery cam ???

anyone have any idea how to ID this cam ? i was told this was a cobra cam which ive been hunting for to swap into my 96 explorer 5.0/ranger project. from what ive read, the cobra should have a "GT" stamped behind the distributor drive gear, the only stamping or ID of any kind is here, on the back of the cam.

Free bump and I wish you good luck. Back when I was looking at Mustang cams I had the same issue. Identifying them is really hard, the markings on the cam rarely can be used to ID them. You might have to check it against the specs for a Cobra cam by measuring the actual lobes and comparing to the posted Cobra figures.
