Navigation screen ?

I have a 2017 explorer limited with sync 3

yesterday was playing around with the navigation screen zooming in & out.........now the screen doesn't look the same as it did. Also from the "home" screen (the screen divided into 3 sections) there is no "beep" when the map goes to full screen. There is a beep when touching the radio & phone sections.

How can I get this back to where it was?

A Master Reset may do it but I'm sure there is an easier way without losing some saved memory. What is different on the screen?

not sure how to describe it...........for example, when driving to & from work via the interstate, it seems like the interstate isn't as detailed.
I keep thinking that it used to show the number of lanes (in this case 3), & would show the lane that I was driving in & then the associated colors due to
traffic. Maybe I am just dreaming.............

I did check my mom's MKC & there was no beep when changing screens to full map view
