I recently traded my 05 Expl for a 13 Expl the 13 has sync with mytouch. There is no sd card for nav but wen I press where am I it shows my lat and long . If I get a sd nav card , will I have the navigation ? the display shows information in top right corner without the sd card.

Congrats on your new Explorer!

Since your display is showing INFORMATION, an SD card with maps will not add navigation. You can use SYNC Services for audible turn-by-turn directions though! Check out this link for more information:
