- 1991 Ford Explorer XLT
I posted on this in the main 1991 Explorer forum because I overlooked this specific forum. Besides, the info in the other post is wrong anyway, after I drove my son's Explorer XLT this morning to our mechanic and had this checked out.
The plastic clip that connects one of the blend door cables is broken ... mechanic says there are two, black and white; the black one is the one where the clip is broken. I am striking out mightily in finding a replacement. Anyone know where I can get one, or can you offer a suggestion for rigging something up that will work?
UPDATE: What I need is temperature control cable F17H-18D306-AA. It's listed on fordparts.com as catalog no. 18518. Would really appreciate any help.
