I have been wanting those Diamond Cut Headlights (DCH) for awhile now, and I was wondering what's the best look so far with the DCH's in? Just leaving the stock corners on them; clear corners are better? If anyone has pictures of their set ups to give me a good idea of what to expect, please post them. And also, do they make a REAL big difference or what? Thanks everyone. One more thing, are they DOT/SAE approved? I think they are, I can't remember.

ps - Any tips on removing the old headlamps and installing the new would be great as well!

Yes, they are DOT/SAE approved. Tips for install can be found in both Diamond Cut Headlight GB threads located in the Group Buy forum - take a look at both. Alot of people who were involved gave some excellent advice.

As far as OEMs or clears.. it doesn't really matter. Actually, look in the first GB thread or on here, www.tainted-reality.net/gb (first GB thread is better because it has pics of both OEM and with clear) - just a matter of preference.

EDIT, nm, I did the work for you:

Draft - I was about to order some until I realized my bank account and what's coming up in the future for me - but I saw there was a "coupon code". Do you know of one that I could use to save some $$$? thanks

No I do not, sorry. I only have my dealer code, which doesn't work.

OK, it's hard to tell here, but I have them with clear corners. Some people are waiting for pigs to fly by thinking diamond cut clear corners will arrive any time soon. Mine are just your garden variety eBayers, no yellowing, no problems.

Dead Link Removed

Use the search function to find out about installation. It's not the easiest task. I suggest completely removing your grille shell, otherwise things get pretty tight.

I will post pics of mine. And YES, they light up the road 1000x's better than the **** stock ones. I used off-road lights in mine though lol :D
Clears look much nicer IMO..

Heres a pic of mine. It's not the greatest pic but whatever. I took the entire grill shell off, and took the advice of another member and removed the hardware from the new lights and used the existing hardware. It made things a little easier. However one of the lights is misaimed and I'm having trouble getting it where I want it. Light output is so-so with eurodezigns bulbs, looks great from outside, but from the drivers seat it's not the best, I attribute it to my suckass aiming abilities. I run with my fogs on anyway, so that helps. Oh yeah and this is with clear corners.

Thanks for all the post. I think I might get the clear corners when I plan on doing the headlight upgrade. I am not exactly sure yet. Thanks again though.
