Need Advice quick - 01 V6

I am new here and was reading all the posts in this forum - just put deposit on 01 EB with SOHC 6 cyl. After reading posts about 'death rattle' should I reconsider and look for a V8. EB has 88000 miles and seems to run great and the price seemed right, Thanks

I wouldnt worry about it. It isnt that common of a problem. However if you plan on doing any offroading or towing the v8 would be nice to have. If its just a daily driver go with the v6.
