Well ive been having problems with my wipers.i thought it was my switch,so i replaced it with a used one.and bam it didnt work.so i took it back got another one, hook it up same results nonthing,i then i said, well maybe the wiper motor bad.so then replaced it.and again.no wipers.tested both motors the one i bought and the oringinal, both work good.so then i bit the nail and went and bought a new switch from the dealer.and now 87.00 later im no better off than when i started.i really need this thing fixed, because im heading out friday to texas, and then wisconsin.so i need it fixed.by the way everything else on the switch works, thanks in advance

Your vehicle has what is known as a GEM module (Generic electronic module) that the wiper circuits go thru. Codes might be available if there is anything wrong with the system, this is where I would start. There are also two relays in the junction box under the hood, a high/low relay and a wiper run relay. You can try swapping relays, find another in the junction box with the same number, swap them and try again.

Most times on Fords the switch is the problem, since you already went that route it's time to look elsewhere.

Well i checked the relays under the hood like you said, earlier,i switched 1-3 no change.then i switched 1-5 wahla wipers, thank god,so aparently i had 2 bad relays 1 and 3 with number 1 controlling the wipers.thanks for the help man,Ray
