Im new in the explorere game and I have no idea how to lift One of these bad boys. Can someone please help me and fill me in on what to buy to do so. Im looking to put at least 3 inches on it. Maybe more. Im thinkin 33" tires. Please Help!

If you're only looking for 3" you can pick up a body lift from Performance Accesories fairly cheap -- PA883 or PA853, I beileve-- but you will have to make your own bumper brackets (the kits are made for a Ranger). If you want to go suspension; RCD made a 5" lift/coil-over conversion for the 98-02 Ranger (IFS is identical to 2nd gen Explorers), though they are a bit hard to find anymore and you have to lift the rear on your own (AAL of SOA). Good luck with your lift.
