Need help identifying a hose

Hi everyone i need help identifying a hose on my 99 explorer v6 ohv its on the throttle body and runs down to like Breather or something under the battery its really frayed and is cracking when i started engine with out the hose it seemed like a vacuum line which might be causing the lean codes im getting i saw this line when i was going to remove the intake to change the gaskets eventhough i checked for a vacuum leak and didnt find any

Under your battery is your evap canister purge valve and it needs vacuum to open the valve when you turn on the engine.
