I'm trying to diagnose a "slow fill" issue with my 2002 Explorer. I was under the vehicle today and ID'd four hoses: the main filler hose, a small hose that runs off the filler hose at "midnight", a hose that just ends and is capped, and a hose that appears to run into the side of the "box" that holds the end of the filler hose. The mystery hose seems to connect just behind the filler door hinge. I'm trying to identify the hose that bleeds the air from the tank when I'm filling, as I think that may be blocked. Is it the hose that runs into the side of the box? It's a black rubber hose, about 3/4" OD (SWAG). tnx.
