Check all of the basics first, make sure the brakes are not draging. If you have caliper assembly or piston that is not working properly it will act like
the brakes are partially on all of the time. Probably worse as it warms up and
starts to expand. The same goes for the parking brake, adjustment ..cables.
If you go 10- 15 min drive, check around each wheel for the amount of heat
being generated - fronts work harder so they might be a little warmer, but the
same side to side. If you notice one or more are much warmer or hot, start
looking there.

You mentioned a noise during a turn, make sure the bearings are ok, if not
running true, you could have a rotor moving around and binding in a caliper.
Look for any excessive markings of brake dust or rust deposited on the wheels.

Try turning each wheel by hand, to observe rolling resistance.

Yours is an AWD so there is more turning all the time, so it might have a little
more natural drag from the drivetrain, but your description sounds more
severe than that. I'm not famillar with the AWD versions, is it AWD all the
time or does it shift to a Full 4 wd mode, if so yours might be staying in the
4wd mode creating more drag.

V-6 or V-8? If it's a V-6 it's not all wheel drive. If it's a V-8, it's all wheel drive. Troubleshooting the problem will require two distinctly different approaches depending on which transfer case/drivetrain it is.

sorry about that its a v8 5.0.. and i beleive ita always on awd.. and hoestly it might be as alarmist says natural drag since more is turning, but.. it just seems like too much.. the pop[pping sound when i turned has stopped.. but now a veru annoying squeeky sound has started?? everytime my suspension flexes.. even at the most minor flex
any suggestions???
and as far as the decelleratinf problem i asked the local kragen guys for some transfercase fluid in hopes that maybe it will fix my probleme.. and he said that mine doesnt require any??? i think thats false.. so that was no help to me
